Migration Brewing Releases 12oz Cans and 6-Packs

Since opening its Gresham, Oregon, facility, Migration Brewing has been scaling production up for the ability to package beer in 12oz cans and 6-packs which are now launching in the Portland metro market. The now 8-year-old Portland brewery moved its major operations to Gresham just recently, but still operates the original brewpub off of 28th and NE Glisan. At the end of August the company shipped its first pallets of the flagship Straight Outta Portland IPA and Patio Pale Ale brands to Columbia Distributing.  As part of a long-term strategy for rapid growth, Migration plans to follow up with more seasonal can releases this fall.More from a press release:“We’ve been working on this program for over a year now, so it feels really good to get our top-selling beers into package and out the door to Columbia,” says Eric Banzer-Lausberg, Migration’s Director of Sales and Co-Owner.  “It’s great to have our product in six-packs, a format that we really enjoy, and to be able to provide our customers with a sharable Migration experience,” states Banzer-Lausberg. The company plans to follow up with six-pack releases of it’s award-winning Proper Pilsner, and Mo-Haze-ic New England Style IPA this fall.  There are also plans of a new Brut IPA in the works.
