Drunk Herstory: A Night of Tipsy Storytelling

Drunk Herstory: A Night of Tipsy Storytelling is a live and in-person craft beer version of the Comedy Central show Drunk History that will take place on Thursday, October 25th at Alberta St. Pub in NE Portland. A similar event has been held the last two years in March for Women's History Month in which women of the industry get intoxicated and recite stories from history.
Join a few of your favorite women working in the Oregon Beer and Cider Industries (also known as the PDX Book Club) for a night of tipsily retold stories of infamously misunderstood women in history. From Cleopatra to Bridget Bishop, hear the liquored-up narration of stories you thought you knew. Booze helps bring out the truth, it’s just sometimes the truth is a little incoherent.
Each participating brewery or cidery will have at least one draft option available for purchase. $1 from select pints will be donated to Planned Parenthood: Columbia Willamette Chapter. A full draft list will be available closer to the date of the event.
The show will be co-hosted by PDXBeerGirl and Randi Curran, local entertainer & bartender.A special collaboration beer will be served only at the event, a spooky concoction brewed up by PDX Book Club at 10 Barrel Brewing in late September.Costumes & general mischief encouraged! When & Where:Thursday, October 25th from 6:30pm-9:00pm (Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:00pm)Alberta Street Pub, 1036 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 97211Cost:$8.
