Sierra Nevada releases Snow Pack Mixed Case of Winter Seasonals

Sierra Nevada has a new mixed 12 pack of bottles to get you into the winter/holiday mood with the release of their Snowpack mixed case. Snow Pack refers to the snowfall, of which the Sierra Nevada mountains had the 4th largest snowfall ever this last March. Tempered with a classic (but not so wintery) Pale Ale, the mixed pack includes new fresh bottled beers: Coffee Stout, Wintertide Ale and Holiday Haze IPA. Notably absent is Sierra Nevada's classic winter seasonal Celebration but I am extremely curious to try what a holiday Hazy IPA tastes like and the Wintertide spiced ale is intriguing as well.Below is the commercial description, tasting notes, ingredients and specs on each beer in the Snow Pack case.

HOLIDAY HAZE IPA

Haze up the holidays

As the holiday season ramps up, we all get busy, so we’re bringing you this all-new IPA as a reminder to slow down and appreciate this special time. Heavy with intense fruit-forward hop flavor, mild bitterness and a smooth finish, this is the perfect beer for the lead-up to the holidays. Let’s all pause, relax, and snap out of that holiday haze.

WINTERTIDE ALE

Spice up the season

In times of old, no holiday feast was complete without a tankard of spiced ale served next to a roaring fire. That’s a tradition we’d like to see continue (tankard optional) with our Wintertide Ale. Brewed with rich caramel-like malts and a hint of coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, Wintertide is reminiscent of mom’s favorite holiday cookies.

COFFEE STOUT

Rich, cold-weather wonder

PALE ALE

The beginning. A classic. Our most popular beer.

Pale Ale began as a home brewer’s dream, grew into an icon, and inspired countless brewers to follow a passion of their own. Its unique piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have fascinated beer drinkers for decades and made this beer a classic, yet it remains new, complex and surprising to thousands of beer drinkers every day. It is—as it always has been—all natural, bottle conditioned and refreshingly bold.
