New Seasons Market and Instacart Partner for Beer and Wine Delivery in Portland

Portland-based grocer New Seasons Market today announced an expanded partnership with ecommerce company Instacart to add beer and wine delivery in the Portland area. Just in time for Thanksgiving and the holiday entertaining season, the partnership will also have an online holiday meal reservations tool, and will be adding e-gift card online orders to make gift giving even easier.

More from a press release:

“We know it takes a lot of time to plan and prepare the perfect holiday meal and we want to help customers spend more of that time with friends and family,” said Katie MacDonald, New Seasons Market senior director of e-commerce. “With online meal reservations; grocery, beer and wine delivery; and e-gift card options, we hope to make it easier than ever for New Seasons Market customers to focus more of their time with loved ones over quality, local food and drinks this holiday season.”

Starting today, customers can browse New Seasons’ holiday menu on the new reservation tool to easily plan holiday meals and reserve appetizers, sides and entrees made from local, quality ingredients for the whole family. From pasture raised turkeys, house made buttermilk mashed potatoes and Oregon-grown cranberry sauce with clementine, to chef-inspired organic, vegan and gluten-free options, the online reservation site makes it easy to prepare a delicious holiday feast with less time in the grocery store and kitchen.

Additionally, New Seasons has further expanded its partnership with Instacart to add beer, wine and cider to grocery delivery orders in Portland. Customers can choose from more than 500 local and international selections to stay stocked for holiday parties, last-minute host gifts and New Year’s toasts.

The new addition of e-gift card ordering at www.newseasonsmarket.com gives customers an easy last-minute gifting option. Customers can order a physical gift card for postal delivery or select an e-gift card for instant email delivery, and send a gift of local groceries to a loved one or neighbor.

All New Seasons Market stores will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas to give staff paid time off with family and friends, but customers can get holiday meal tips from friendly, knowledgeable staff leading up to Thanksgiving via the new reservation site’s live chat service starting November 5 through November 21, and picking back up in December for the holidays.

Check out New Seasons’ holiday meal reservations site, wine and beer delivery selection, or e-gift cards by clicking “Order Online” at www.newseasonsmarket.com.
