First Look at Sunriver Brewing's Oakway Pub in Eugene

Sunriver Brewing celebrated the grand opening of its Oakway Pub in Eugene on Saturday, April 6. The blowout event featured an outdoor beer tent with a DJ, axe throwing, and after-dark pyrotechnics and a laser show. All areas were packed, and despite the hour wait for a seat, service was swift and friendly. Sunriver released an IPA called Howdy Eugene! just for the event, and launched its limited release 16oz can program with Sunny D Hazy IPA, Parkes and Wreck Double Hazy IPA, and Howdy Eugene! IPA.Oakway Pub took over the second Hot Mama’s Wings location in Oakway Plaza off of Coburg Rd., just north of downtown across the Willamette River, and had its soft opening on March 12. It is the only brewpub in that area, and is well suited to the location. The split level space features an ample bar and upstairs seating with a nice rail-side view to the restaurant below.
