Pyramid Brewing Co. have announced the seasonal return of Curve Ball Summer Blonde Ale. and that Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager will be now year-round in cans. Curve Ball Summer Blonde Ale

Curve Ball Summer Blonde Ale

Curve Ball Summer Blonde Ale is a Baseball-themed summer ale. Designed and marketed for outdoors, backyard parties and sporting events. It's a bright golden beer, crisp yet full bodied. Malted Wheat, and 2-Row Pale Barley malts are combined with Vanguard and Perle Hops. It is available now until the end of July at the Alehouse in Sodo and most retailers in Washington and Oregon.

“Curve Ball is the perfect for backyard patio BBQ, long nights around the fire, or in the grandstands rooting on your team,” said Ryan Pappe, Head Brewer, Pyramid Brewing Co. “This beer was crafted with baseball in mind. Curve Ball is great for sipping from the top of the first to the bottom of the last inning. We are happy to craft more of this beer for our loyal customers and for anyone seeking a seasonal ale made for the long summer nights.”

Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager

Meanwhile, Pyramid Brewing scored a hit with Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager last year and are bringing it back in cans. Coast Day is a full bodied beer, far different than light and crisp lagers you may be used to. Pyramid created it as a "bridging the flavor gap of a hazy IPA and your classic lager."

This pale, straw-colored lager was first introduced last year and will now be available year-round in new 12oz 6-pack cans and 19.2oz cans at convenience, and grocery stores in the Pacific Northwest and the Pyramid Alehouse in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.

“Following its original release last year, Coast Day immediately became a customer favorite,” said Ryan Pappe, Head Brewer, Pyramid Brewing Co. “Craft beer lovers recognized Coast Day as the summer beer to enjoy due to its crisp, refreshing flavor profile.”

Coast Day is brewed with a blend of Nugget Liberty and Mount Hood Hops. It is then dry-hopped with a new limited edition Experimental Hop 09326 and Centennials. The result is aromas of citrus, and berry.

Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager is sold in 12 oz. can 6-packs and 19.2 oz. cans in stores throughout the Pacific Northwest and is on tap at the Pyramid Alehouse in SoDo in Seattle. In an effort to continue donations for Brews That Do, an initiative created by Pyramid Brewing Co. to fight hunger in the Pacific, will raise donations from all beers sold or poured of Coast Day Dry-Hopped Hazy Lager as follows: $5 for each half barrel keg, $2 for each one-sixth barrel keg and 50 cents for each case. Proceeds from sales of Coast Day in Washington state will benefit Food Lifeline of Western Washington and the Oregon Food Bank from sales in Oregon.
