Sierra Nevada releases Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA

Sierra Nevada Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA

Chico, California's Sierra Nevada Brewing is doubling down on the haze craze with their new Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA. This new year-round release follows up the current, but soon disappearing, Hoppy Anniversary IPA. Fantastic Haze is Sierra Nevada's gift to haze bros who love a big juicy hop burst and 9% abv alcohol punch. Fantastic Haze can be found on draft and in 6-pack cans.

More from a press release:

Thanks to five hops and loads of barley, oats and wheat, Fantastic Haze offers juicy tropical flavors and aromas of mango, melon and citrus at a whopping 9% ABV.

"This is one of our hoppiest beers ever in terms of flavor and aroma, yet the low bitterness makes it dangerously drinkable," said Brewmaster Scott Jennings. "It's packed with juicy hop flavor and tropical aroma with a creamy finish."

Fantastic Haze will be available at grocery stores nationwide in the coming weeks, and consumers will be able to easily spot its bright blue and yellow canned six-packs.

"We packed in as much hops as would fit, using Comet, Amarillo, Idaho 7, Azacca, Strata, and Chinook throughout the process," said Jennings. "We think this beer takes the Imperial IPA to a new unrestrained reality dominated by hops!"

Sierra Nevada has also shared a 2020 brand calendar highlighting new and popular releases and when they drop this year.
