Sierra Nevada releases Wild Little Thing Slightly Sour Ale

Sierra Nevada Wild Little Thing Slightly Sour Ale

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is releasing a new year-round beer called Wild Little Thing Slightly Sour Ale that will be available in 12oz cans and draft. Sierra Nevada is reaching out to younger and non-beer drinkers with this slightly tart and hazy ale with a bright pink pop of color.

Clocking in at 5.5% ABV and 7 IBU, Wild Little Thing is a highly refreshing, slightly sour ale with just the right smack of tartness. Brewed with hibiscus, guava and strawberry, the beer has fruity-sweet depth and bright pink color. The beer will debut in six-pack cans this March.

"We love the tartness of sour beers, but wanted something more approachable, refreshing and enjoyable by the pint," said Sierra Nevada Brewmaster Scott Jennings. "By lightly souring Wild Little Thing and adding guava, hibiscus and strawberry, we created a beer that's balanced, glowing, and full of interesting flavors, but still wildly drinkable."

Wild Little Thing is a line extension of Hazy Little Thing, Sierra Nevada's hazy IPA which debuted in 2018. Hazy Little Thing was the #1 new craft SKU in both 2018 and 2019, and is now the #4 IPA in the country.
