Double Mountain Go-To Lager available now To-Go

We talk about to-go beers a lot these days, but how about go-to beers? Double Mountain Brewery and Cidery is releasing their house Go-To Lager in 500ml bottles and on-draft if we can get to go-in to a pub anytime soon.

GO-TO Lager has a touch of biscuit malt for the fluffy fresh taste so good in a bready pilsner. The brewers utilize one of their favorite hop varieties, Brewers Gold, which lends a delicate dash of citrus flavor and grassiness. Go-To Lager is cold conditioned in lagering vessels for three months. Bottles available at the Double Mountain's Portland and Hood River locations as well as grocery stores and bottleshops throughout the pacific northwest.

GO-TO LAGER 4.8% ABV 15 BU

“Sure, IPA’s and big Belgian beers are great. Do you know what else is great? A beer you can go to for some quick and light refreshment. A beer good with any meal, or any time of day. I’m not saying you should drink this beer in the shower after a long day outside, but you totally should.” Matt Coughlin, Lead Brewer

REDUCE, REUSE, REPEAT!
With news appearing throughout media outlets on the shortcomings of recycling and OPB reporting that Oregon recycling is on the decline, we determined that there is no better time than the present to share the information on why to choose refillable bottles. Complimenting this delicious experimental series, each beer’s label highlights the benefits of using refillable bottles. The carbon footprint of refillable bottles is vastly lower than other container choices, making it the best container for the environment. Add the benefit of reduced oxidation, and refillable bottles are better for the beer too. Reduce, Reuse, Repeat, a solid mantra, not only for refillable bottles but containers in general.
