Hop Valley releases 'Tiger King' inspired Stash Exotic Hazy Blonde Ale

Capitalizing off of the viral popularity of the Netflix docu-series Tiger King, the Miller-Coors owned Hop Valley Brewing has launched Stash Exotic Hazy Blonde Ale. The Eugene and Springfield, Oregon-based brewery originally announced the beer as an April Fool's joke, but after receiving massive attention and positive feedback, they decided to brew a beer in tribute of an animal abuser, attempted murderer and convicted felon.

To mitigate the potential ramifications of brewing a beer in honor of a man who murdered tigers and was convicted of 17 federal charges of animal abuse, Hop Valley will donate some beer sales to not-for-profit animal rescue organization. No info on what those funds will be or what organization specifically.

Stash Exotic Hazy Blonde Ale, a golden bright beer with a refreshing touch. It will be available by end of May in 6-pack cans in Oregon, and between June and September in 12oz bottles within the Patty’O Pack Variety Mixer available in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California.

This beer with 4.5% ABV uses Cryo Hops® so that it fully lives up to the “Stash” call-out in its name.
