Silver Moon Brewing New Bottle & Can Releases + Pub Reopening

Late last summer Silver Moon Brewing was forced to close their Bend, Oregon taproom temporarily due to an OLCC snafu. As of October 12th, it's back open and Silver Moon Brewing has announced two new can releases, and two new barrel-aged beers in bottles.

Fall and winter are upon us! We could not be more excited to share our seasonal line up with you all! The newest additions to the Lunar and Stellar series are dropping in early-mid November, just in time for the changing seasons!

In our Stellar Series we are releasing our Xul Mexican Style Stout and in our Lunar Series we are releasing the Polar Shaman Winter IPA. Check them out and find more information on the beers below!

Xul Mexican Style Stout and Polar Shaman Winter IPA

First up is the Stellar Series release of Xul Mexican Style Stout, which has been a popular taproom only beer for years. Brewed with Cocoa Nibs, Guajillo and Pasilla Peppers, Ceylon Cinnamon and Madagascar Vanilla, this beer is a fun and unique take on a Winter Warmer. Xul Mexican Style Stout has been now put into 12oz cans for the first time ever, but it's a limited release.

Polar Shaman Winter IPA is a new recipe to Silver Moon Brewing's Lunar line up. This beer opens up with Dark Belgian Caramel Malts that leads into notes of pine, berries, plum, citrus peel and light toasted sugar. A festive holiday ale that will keep your bones warm late into the winter.

Both of these styles are available in both draft and 6-packs for a limited time. You can use Silver Moon's beerfinder to find out where to find them.

Barrel aged Xul

Next up is two bottle releases that are actually different barrel-aged variations on the same beer. Silver Moon calls it their annual "two back" release. This year it's the Xul Mexican Stout, one bottle release aged in Tequila barrels and the other in Mezcal barrels. They are available in a two-pack design but dont release until the end of November.
