Oregon City Brewing 5th Anniversary Party
Oregon City Brewing is 5 years old, and in an earlier report John Chilson wrote about the development of the OC in this last half of a decade. But on Saturday, Dec. 7th, Oregon City Brewing will officially mark the milestone with a party that runs from 5-9:30pm at their taproom/brewery at 1401 Washington Street in Oregon City, OR.

Oregon City Brewing will be featuring 5th Flight, its first-ever hazy Imperial IPA. Brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, and flaked wheat, and hopped with Simcoe and Citra, 5th Flight is fermented with Imperial Yeast’s Juice yeast and clocks in at 8% ABV and 55 IBUs.
The festivities will begin at 5 p.m., when Portland rock band Pulp Romance takes the stage in front of Oregon City Brewing’s brewhouse. There will be a heated tent on the patio to shield partygoers from any inclement weather.
After that, Portland-based Rum River Cult takes over from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and finally, The Celebrators - featuring Oregon City Brewing employees Nicolai Carrera and Aaron Tackett - finish up the live music from 8 p.m. to 9:30 pm.
Oregon City Brewing’s food partner, Olympia Provisions Public House, will have food specials running all day, as well as their full menu. Oregon City Brewing will also be partnering with Moore Than Just A Cupcake in Oregon City to provide over 350 mini-cupcakes to customers and attendees.
In addition to the cupcake giveaway, Oregon City Brewing will be revealing new merchandise with specials on other select merchandise, as well as a special gift card discount promotion. Minors are welcome until 9 p.m., and until 10 p.m. outside on the patio.
