Gift Fair, Cider Sale and KBOO Benefit at Cider Riot

This Saturday, 33 Books and Cider Riot are teaming up with KBOO for a Was-sale Gift Fair and cider sale at Cider Riot in NE Portland. Stop by the pub for a warm glass of barrel-aged Winter Orchard strong cider with mulling spices throughout the month of December, plus bring your holiday gifts to get wrapped by KBOO volunteers for a donation to the local radio station.Live Music from Mae McCoy and Jim Skewes, warm mulled cider, locally made crafts from a variety of artisans, and unbeatable specials on cases of Rudy's Cranberry Hibiscus Cider. KBOO volunteers will be on site wrapping your purchases in exchange for donations to the station. Help keep community broadcasting alive and well as KBOO turns 50.They will have tasting accessories and gifts from 33 Books, jewelry from Kristen Karkaren and Soul State of Mind, Arc Art zapples, and other electrically charged wood items, paintings from Tara Stephens and prints from Hellion Gallery.Cider Specials:Cases of 500ml bottles of Rudy’s Cranberry Hibiscus usually $70 will be available to go for only $40 each, individual bottles for $5 each, and two liters will be on sale for $10 each.2015 1763 will on sale for $100 a case, (usually $130, and going up to $150 on Jan. 1).We'll also be tapping a firkin of 2016 1763 Revolutionary West Country Cider scrumpy-style, and serving mulled Winter Orchard Strong Cider. Winter Orchard was made for the Holiday Ale Festival, Harry Masters Jersey and Dabbinett bittersweet cider was aged in Rum, Gin, Tequila and Apple Brandy barrels, and blended back together for a warming holiday tipple.
