Crux Fermentation Project Announces Tasting Room Expansion & Beer News

Crux Fermentation Project in Bend, Oregon has announced an expansion project to their popular tasting room in Bend. Past the "Private Road" and "No Outlet" signs that lead to their deceptively welcome spot with grassy field, dog park, pristine taproom and comforting picnic fare was a welcome reward. Soon Crux will undergo an expansion to double their modest indoor seating area and quadruple the bathroom capacity as well as a lot more fun aspects that are yet to be announced. Crux will break ground this Spring with the aim to be open for summer.SAY HELLO TO MIKE FOYNot only is Crux expanding their tasting room but also growing the sales team. Crux is thrilled to announce that Mike Foy has joined the Crux crew to lead sales efforts heading into 2018 and beyond. Mike fills the newly created GM of Sales position, bringing extremely valuable craft beer experience to the team as the former Oregon Zone Manager for Deschutes Brewery. Crux founder and master brewer, Larry Sidor, says, “We couldn’t be happier to have Mike on board. His experience and love for craft beer lines up perfectly with our "Brewer Owned and Operated" philosophy of making true craft beer readily available to our customers.”INTRODUCING COCO(A) STOUTThis triple-chocolate stout is the adult’s answer to hot cocoa on a cold night. As smooth and full of character as a fireside velvet painting, this roasted revelation was brewed with chocolate malt, infused with cocoa powder, and then "dry-hopped" with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and toasted coconut for a decadently layered sipping experience that beats any dessert. Available now in 500 ml bottles and on draft, but not for long, as this single batch release will soon be gone.COMING UP NEXTThe Crux team is hard at work, preparing for the release of Freakcake – barrel-aged Oud Bruin, Tripelcross – the first bottling of a Belgian-style tripel, and year-round cans of Play Wave - a brand new NW Pale Ale! More info coming soon on these beers.Crux Fermentation Project · 63065 NE 18th Street · Bend, Or 97701 · USA
