MS Fest Celebrates Six Years of Northbank Craft Beer

When Sunny Parsons initially heard about the first MS Fest in downtown Vancouver, the owner and brewer at Heathen Brewing didn’t think twice about participating. Parson’s mother had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and his grandfather had died of complications from the disease. Parsons didn’t hesitate. “It was one of those automatic, easy answers,” he said. “This is near and dear to my heart.”Six years later, Heathen will once again join a slate of Southwest Washington breweries at the sixth annual MS Fest, happening March 31, 2018 at the Brickhouse Bar and Grill in downtown Vancouver, Wash.The daylong fundraiser for the National MS Society includes live music, craft beer from throughout Southwest Washington, and more. Attendees are invited sample one-off, rare, and classic beers from 12 local and regional breweries, including:

“We’re excited to partner with a great host and so many great breweries,” said Team Road Kill member Ron Haye. “We appreciate their support, and we’re excited for a fun event that raises money for a great cause.”Admission is $15, which includes a glass and tasting tickets. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the festival, and attendees are invited to donate used bicycles to Bike Clark County. The local organization promotes access to bicycles, cycling education, and safety to children and adults throughout Southwest Washington.
