Portland Cheese Festival "The Wedge"

Cheese lovers would and should line up for Portland and perhaps Oregon's best cheese event (right up there with Portland Beer and Cheese Fest) The Wedge this Saturday, October 6th from noon to 6pm.  Presented by the Oregon Cheese Guild, The Wedge is a Farmers Market-style festival celebrating cheese and everything that goes with it and yes that includes craft beer (plus wine and cider). A ticket basically gets you unlimited samples but bring some cash because you can purchase your own wedges of cheese to take home and even better, the entry ticket comes with a $5 voucher for use purchasing a wedge.In past years The Wedge has been a block party style event outside of Rogue's Green Dragon but this year it moves to 100 SE Alder St. where Portland Night Market is held. It will be an indoor and outdoor event which is a wise choice for this season.

Tasting

Sampling cheeses and specialty foods from our more than 65 vendors requires purchase of a tasting ticket, available in advance for $15 or at the door for $20. Beverage sampling and VIP tickets are also available. All tickets come with a $5 voucher to purchase your favorite new cheese! Kids 12 and under are free. Purchase tickets HERE.
