Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival Showcases New Venue and Breweries

The Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival returns for the 2019 spring season this April 5-7th with many new features. Previously held at Saraveza in N. Portland, this years festival relocates to Glendoveer Golf Course outside of the new Von Ebert Brewing Eastside location and will also become an invitational-style format. That means, each day of the fest will feature different breweries, showcasing completely different beers and with more breweries represented from across the country like Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, Fonta Flora Brewing and Burial Beer Co.Glendoveer Golf Course is a large park in NE Portland and will provide a more open, quiet and green location for the fest. Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Fest will be held on the outdoor events pavilion near the center of the park on a paved area surrounded by grass and trees and right behind the Von Ebert Brewing brewpub. One of the other big benefits to the venue change is an enviable amount of on-site parking.Individual, single-day tickets are now on sale for the limited capacity Friday VIP evening session, Saturday GA or Sunday GA and a special discounted Saturday & Sunday package. Cook.  Von Ebert Brewing was named after Tom S’ Great Grandmother Ebert, who was the guiding force to our immigrant family when they came over from Germany to the United States.  Through marriage, our last name is different now, but when we decided to build a craft brand, we knew we wanted to make Grandma proud and she continues to be our guiding force.  If Grandma Ebert wouldn’t think it was up to par, we won’t do it. http://vonebertbrewing.com/About Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale FestivalThe Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival was founded in 2013 and held at Saraveza, their Bad Habit Room and expanded into the street with a covered tent. In it’s 5+ years the festival has grown to the largest in the pacific northwest and represents more than fifty beers and dozens and dozens of American Farmhouse breweries from across the country. Hosted by Saraveza, the organizers goal is to be the ultimate showcase for the new wave of American Farmhouse beers and be an approachable forum to discover what makes the broad style so interesting and complex. Each year the festival welcomes new breweries and more improvements to the experience. The 2019 Farmhouse Fest will be revamped for a new location at Glendoveer Golf Course with Von Ebert Brewing’s Eastside pub on April 6-7th. http://portlandfarmhousefest.com/About Glendoveer Golf and TennisGlendoveer Golf & Tennis is a 36 hole daily fee golf facility with 4 indoor tennis courts, an 18 hole FootGolf course, and a covered, heated and lit driving range located in Portland, Oregon.
