GrowlerWerks uKeg introduces Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker

Portland-based GrowlerWerks has already helped refresh the standard growler with their uKeg and is now set to introduce a Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker. Nitro served coffee is a hot new category, it's similarity to beer is undeniable. Both coffee and beer are brewed and roasted, nitro was first introduced in beers and now a growing popular category in cold brewed coffee. GrowlerWerks has shown that the uKeg is more than just a beer transportation method, it can also carbonate soda and juices and the latest version does nitro coffee too.

More from a press release:

GrowlerWerks’ uKeg Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker—the world’s first fully integrated nitro cold brew coffee maker and dispenser—is bringing the experience home.

Soon there will be no need to leave the comfort of your home or shell out $4-6 per serving. With the uKeg Nitro, you can brew it at home and it will stay fresh and creamy for weeks (if you can keep it around that long).

We’ve worked with coffee experts to ensure our uKeg Nitro delivers the delicious, nitro-infused cold brew that has built a loyal (and growing!) following of coffee lovers everywhere, and the feedback has been stellar. In fact, after testing the prototype, Stumptown, Caffe Umbria, and local Portland roaster Good Coffee have all endorsed the product.

And it doesn’t just taste amazing—it looks amazing, too. The uKeg Nitro achieves the same beautiful, cascading pour that you get from draft systems in coffeeshops.

We’ve worked out all the details and are launching a Kickstarter campaign on June 5 to bring the uKeg Nitro to life. I’d love it if you’d help us spread the word about what is sure to be a game-changer in the world of specialty coffee. I’ve attached a product photo, and would be happy to provide additional information.
