Pale Ale Tasting and Discussion at Montavilla Brew Works

Southeast Portland neighborhood brewery Montavilla Brew Works is hosting a discussion and tasting of Pale Ales next Thursday, June 27th with a flight of 4 pale ales available for $8 from 3-9pm and a brewer discussion at 6pm.

Taste all four (4oz each) of Montavilla Brew Works dry hopped Pale Ales and vote for your favorite:

"Lesh Is More!" (Amarillo, El Dorado, Chinook)
"Zythos for Lesh" (Amarillo, El Dorado, Zythos)
"Don't CRYO'ver Simcoe" (Chinook, Cryo Simcoe)
"Secret One-Hitter" (Chinook, Australian Vic Secret)

Brewer/Owner Michael Kora and assistant brewer Alex Graham will give a talk at 6pm on how Pale Ale is brewed, and how each hop affects the flavor and aroma of each beer. A tour of the MBW brewhouse will follow the discussion.
