Former Columbia River Brewing and Laurelwood Brewpub is For Lease

The former home of such successful brewpubs as Columbia River Brewing and Laurelwood Brewing Co. is now up for lease in Portland's Hollywood district. Located at 1728 NE 40th, the 6,100 sq. ft. space is a turnkey operation with fully installed and running kitchen, furniture, fixtures, POS Hood, HVAC and yes, even the 7bbl brewery included.

Columbia River Brewing Company last occupied 1724 NE 40th but shut down last May, reportedly due to the owner/brewer wanting to retire and the lease expiring. This was a very successful spot, especially for Laurelwood Brewing which started off here before turning it into the Laurelwood Pizza Co. and then finally moving up the street on Sandy Blvd. Even Columbia River Brewing made it here for nearly nine years. 1724 could make for a great satellite brewpub for a successful operation or a new brewery to jump into the biz with a 5-15 year lease option.
