pFriem To-Go Pop-Up at Interurban

N. Portland tavern Interurban is hosting a pFriem Family Brewers to-go pop-up starting today, and every Thurs., Fri., Sat., Sun. and Mon. for the entirety of the pandemic related closure of dine-in service. From 4-8pm 5-days a week, Interurban will be open for to-go mason jar fills and pFriem branded growlers of special beers for take out.

If you are one of the millions trying to stay home or in town, then this is a great option to get some pFriem draft beers in Portland. Interurban is also still making their killer food menu for pick up as well.

Interurban will only be filling their own 32 or 64oz mason jars and in-house pFriem growlers, no outside containers. All beers are $8/32oz and $16/64oz plus a $2 deposit for mason jars or $3-$4 deposit for pFriem growlers. Bring any of the glass back and Interuban will swap it for a new one so the staff can fully sanitize returns at the end of the day.

TAPLIST will possibly change/be updated as beers kick:

Sparkling IPA (draft exclusive) - Here’s a beer that’s as crisp as it is quenching. pFriem Sparkling IPA is inspired by the Australian refreshers we tasted on a trip Down Under. With aromas of sugar-covered strawberries, pineapple, and mango and notes of kiwi, white grape, honeydew, and guava, this refreshing IPA is full of a new kind of delight. ABV 6.6% IBU 33

Exp #30 IIPA (Brewery exclusive) - no info

Hazy IPA - Seeking out some haze? pFriem Hazy IPA has tropical aromas of clementine, peach, strawberry, mango, and papaya, and juicy notes of grapefruit, white grape, and whipped citrus. Creamsicle meringue rests atop a mysterious body of grilled mango and haze. If you’re looking for haze, you’re in the right place. ABV 7.9% IBU 35

Citrus Zest IPA - By adding grapefruit and tangelo zest to fruit and citrus forward hops we’ve maximized the fruit flavors in pFriem Citrus Zest IPA. Its notes of melon, papaya, and ripe fruit, and the zesty, refreshing finish will have you puckering up with joy in no time. ABV 6.3% IBU 45

HBC 630 Pale Single Hop - The latest in pFriem's quarterly collaboration series with Yakima Chief Hops, HBC 630 Single Hop Pale is a delight to behold. This brand new experimental variety is known for its Cherry Candy, and Tropical aromas. Paired with their refreshing strong pale base, this one is going to be a perfect match to the Hood River Brewery's beautiful Oregonian Spring. 5.9% ABV 45 IBU

Lemon Zest Farmhouse - We’ve added some zest to our traditional Farmhouse Saison— Lemon zest that is. Let the large citrus, and apricot flavors of pFriem’s Lemon Zest Farmhouse Ale greet your taste buds before a finish that’s creamy, refreshing and tart. ABV 6.2% IBU 29

Belgian Select - Dry hopped with Citra and Nelson Sauvin, pFriem Belgian Select is dynamic, unique, and inspired by a wave of new school Belgian produced beers. Tropical aromas entice exploration, and notes of lychee and clove lead to a warming finish in this New school Belgian-American flavor fest. ABV 8.1% IBU 30

Pilsner - The story of pilsner starts in 19th century Bohemia when a Bavarian monk smuggled a special yeast to a brewmaster in Pilsen. The story of pFriem Pilsner starts in the Pacific Northwest where it acquires the aroma of fresh grass and flowers and a touch of honey. While there are no monks involved in this pilsner, there is still a crisp and spicy finish. ABV 4.9% IBU 35
